Jillian Dawn Art Show

Meet Jillian Dawn

Jillian Dawn is an American visual artist best known for her abstract and geode resin works. Her work is inspired by nature, healing, and evolution of self. She starts each piece based off an emotion or feeling deep within her soul and allows each piece to take on that frequency of the crystal or gemstone used.

“I am an artist because it’s what my soul wants. I have always done art and have always been drawn to colors and nature, I’ve always wanted to create things and have been interested in making things that tell a story or make people think or spread a good feeling or healing.  I know in my soul I am here to create art.  It’s the only time my mind is clear from everything else.  It’s how I process emotions in a healthy way.”

Jillian Dawns’ style is unique in the way that she uses crystals that are chosen based off what she is going through emotionally.  Many of the pieces created are larger pieces relating to geodes and rocks.  She uses natural loose lines and allows the art to take her where it wants to go.  She uses bright and complimentary colors, and when cutting each canvas, allows it to flow naturally.

Jillian is a mother of a beautiful boy and is attending Orange Coast College.  She is taking as many art classes as she can while finishing her Associates degree so she can transfer out to a four year to achieve a degree in Studio Arts.

Please join us as we host, featured artist, Jillian Dawn for her Art Show. This event is free, and open to the public. You will have the opportunity to view her beautiful work, with option to purchase directly from the gallery as well as mingle and snack with other locals. Everyone is welcome so please bring the family.
